Honoring Tradition, Building Brotherhood
Founded in 1860, John Hancock Lodge has been a steadfast pillar of Freemasonry in Massachusetts for over a century and a half. Originally chartered in Methuen during a period of great Masonic growth, our Lodge was named in honor of John Hancock, a patriot whose leadership and signature became symbols of American independence.
Through the years, our Lodge has continued to evolve, moving to Andover to better serve our growing brotherhood. We remain dedicated to the timeless principles of Freemasonry—Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth—while adapting to the needs of today's Masons.
At John Hancock Lodge, we embrace the values of community, charity, and personal growth. Our members come together not only to improve themselves but also to make a positive impact on the world around us. Whether through fellowship, charitable works, or Masonic education, we strive to uphold the highest ideals of our Craft.
We welcome those seeking light in Freemasonry to join us in our journey. If you're interested in learning more, we invite you to connect with us and discover what it means to be a Freemason at John Hancock Lodge.

A look back at our annual Titanic Night — a cherished tradition that brings Brothers together in remembrance, reflection, and fellowship.
